Details
UFRA project Brazil: Davert has been working with the farmers of the UFRA project in Brazil for over 20 years. From the beginning it was our aim to bring the cultivation of sugar cane in line with social and resource-saving aspects. For example, all the children of the plantation workers receive free, regulated training.
For production, the shredded sugar cane is pressed through rollers, and the sugar cane juice obtained is cleaned, clarified and thickened. Crystallization is stimulated by adding small sugar crystals. The crystallized sugar is then separated from the mother syrup and the raw cane sugar is ready!
