preparation tips
Due to the lower sugar content in the 3:1 fruit spread, there is less preservation. In order to achieve a longer shelf life, we recommend using Vitavegan preservative. If you want to avoid adding the preservative, you have to work very carefully during preparation. This means sterilization of the work items, boiling of the jars and lids is absolutely necessary. The fruits to be used must be thoroughly cleaned and should be in perfect condition. After opening, keep the jars in the fridge and use them up quickly.
Besides that:
1. A firmer fruit spread is obtained by increasing the cooking time.
2. Prepare no more than 1.5 kg of fruit with 1 pack of Biovegan 3:1 preserving sugar per cooking process!
3. Select the pot size so that the fruit only fills the pot halfway.ingredients
