Bio Planète - O'citron Olive Oil & Lemon - 250ml

For O'citron, ripe Oueslati olives from wild olive trees from the fertile mountain regions in northeastern Tunisia are harvested by hand, carefully sorted and pressed within a few hours together with fresh, untreated Beldi lemons. The result: an aromatic, velvety-soft oil specialty that particularly delights lovers of Mediterranean cuisine.

The O'citron oil specialty goes perfectly with salmon, beef and vegetable carpaccios and gives all salads a fruity, fresh note.

Store at room temperature and protect from light.

Lemon and thyme sorbet recipe

Ingredients for 4 persons:

- 200 ml of water
- 2 lemons
- 130 g of sugar
- 4 tbsp BIO PLANÈTE O'citron
- 1 bunch of thyme
- 1 egg white

Bring the water to the boil, add the zest of a lemon and the sugar and simmer gently for about 2 minutes. Remove the peel and let the mixture cool down and add the O'citron oil mixture. Wash the thyme, pluck the leaves from the stems and add with the juice of the two lemons. Cool the mass in the frost for approx. 1-2 hours until just before freezing. Beat egg whites into snow and fold in carefully. Then put the mixture in the ice cream machine for about 20 minutes.
