Cut copalchir bark is also known as Mexican fever bark and is obtained from the bark of the copalchi tree (Hintonia latifolia).
Copalchi bark contains neoflavonoid glycosides, flavonoids, phenolcarboxylic acids, catechin tannins, triterpenes, mannitol and resins.
Preparation
Brew 1-2 teaspoons with 1/2 litre of boiling water and leave to infuse for 10 minutes. The tea is then strained and can be drunk afterwards.
