Horsetail is also popularly known as horsetail and has been used for tea infusions for more than 2,000 years.
One of the reasons why horsetail is interesting is its relatively high silica content, as horsetail is considered to be the natural source with the highest silica content. It usually contains 5 to 8 % silicic acid.
This is one of the nutrients for nails, skin and hair as well as lungs, bronchi and bones. But its diuretic properties also make horsetail an exciting plant. Horsetail is also used as a poultice to strengthen the skin's natural regenerative powers.
Preparation
Pour 150 ml of boiling water over 1 - 2 teaspoons of the herb. Leave to infuse for 20 minutes. Then pour the tea through a sieve. Drink 1 cup 2 to 4 times a day between meals.
