The mild Arabica convinces with its flowery flavour and fine citrus notes. Our hero coffee is so named because it comes from real heroes. This is because the coffee farmers ensure a thriving biodiversity in the growing areas. Growing coffee in mixed cultivation and under shade trees ensures stable and species-rich ecosystems as well as the exceptional quality of the beans. Thanks to the intensive care of the coffee bushes, the careful manual labour and the special selection of the beans, the finest, organic and 100% fair trade coffee enjoyment is produced - grown by real coffee heroes.

Production

The beans of our coffee heroes are roasted in the Rapunzel coffee roastery. Our experienced master roasters pay attention to the high quality of the green coffee beans and ensure that the right roasting time and roasting temperature is found for each bean and each origin. Roasting takes place in a gentle, long-term process at low temperatures in a traditional drum roaster. This gives the coffee time to develop its wide variety of flavours. This is not only gentle on the bean, but also on the environment. This is because the energy released during roasting is reused through recirculation and heat recovery. The beans are then finely ground and packaged.
